NUZHAT ALI

I loved writing as a teenager and feel I have now come full circle back to writing. I have been a community activist for the last 22years, volunteering for a number of charitable organisations, working in inter-faith, organising educational conferences and running parenting groups. I also home-educated my children for 8 years and during this time completed a degree in Education Studies, obtaining a first class honours. I then followed this with a Masters in Islamic Studies which I completed in June 2013.

My experiences during this time have been extensive, giving me many insights into the lives of numerous people, their hopes, aspirations, problems and heartaches. I believe that this is the stimulus for my writing, which married with a vivid imagination and a love of story- telling is the key to producing work which is original and reflects issues facing the community I live and work in.
