Smoking is a worldwide addiction which affects the whole of the body and one which causes the most preventable deaths than anything else.
A Lifetime of Smoke is a documentary telling the story of a mother’s experience of starting smoking at a young age to deciding to quit in her sixties.
Her daughter talks about her memories of her mother smoking and how she is trying to understand why it has always been so difficult to quit. In the UK there are many services to help smokers quit and more than half succeed with the NHS.
